Vinayak Vidyapeeth College is organizing a Two-Day Workshop on World Microorganism Day on 17–18 September 2026, jointly organized by the Departments of Biotechnology and Microbiology.
The event aims to promote awareness and practical understanding of the microscopic world through microorganism-based creative activities, poster presentations, hands-on microbial laboratory training, and a basic Bioinformatics Workshop. The second day will introduce participants to NCBI sequence retrieval, BLAST analysis, and multiple sequence alignment using Clustal Omega.
The programme is open to students, research scholars, and faculty, providing an engaging platform to Explore, Learn, Create and Innovate in the fields of microbiology, biotechnology, and bioinformatics.
